Another NASATweetup – GRAIL

Well I’m headed back to Kennedy Space Center in Florida for another NASATweetup, this time for the GRAIL mission to the Moon – yes, I’m addicted! If you’ve ever been to a NASATweetup then you know how I feel. Once you get bit by the bug, you’re pretty much done. You want more NASATweetup.

NASA Juno Tweetup – See you all there

Well, it looks as if I won the lottery twice!

I have been selected to attend the NASA Juno Launch Tweetup happening at Kennedy Space Center, tentatively scheduled for August 4 and 5, 2011, with the Juno launch scheduled for 11:39AM ET on August 5.

Thank you NASA and NASA Tweetup for this honor!

50 Years of Human Spaceflight

Today, April 12, 2011, marks the 50th anniversary of human spaceflight. On this day in 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space and the first to successfully orbit the Earth and land successfully.

Also on this day, 30 years ago, the United States launched Space Shuttle Columbia – the first orbital space vehicle designed for reuse, and further sparked my interest in spaceflight.

Been a long couple weeks – but my friends are there for me.

What’s going on everyone?

It’s been a while since I posted something so I thought I’d Just Do It, as they like to say (who is this mythical “they” anyway?).

Well it’s been a long couple of weeks. If you know me at all you know I wear my heart on my sleeve. I couldn’t have gotten through these rough weeks without my friends – ones I’ve know for a very long time, others I’ve only know for a few months but feel like I’ve know forever, and others I’ve never even met in real life.

I feeling pretty good now, and getting better everyday and it’s all because of my friends.
